What to bring to a shoot?

This is the page we show to models once their first shoot is booked to give you some idea of what to bring and how the travel to and from the shoot works.

The single most important thing you MUST bring to a shoot is your ID, ideally passport and drivers license. We need this as we need absolute proof you are over 18, even if you are well over 18!

The reason we need a copy of your ID is because we do business wth the USA, where the law is very specific; Two forms of government issued ID, at least one with a photo. Because our content is visible in the USA we follow this law to the letter, and in doing so we also comply with UK law in only shooting over 18′s. Any photographer who doesn’t ask for this shot is not a serious professional. These ID shots are never used online.

Should the FBI ever ask, we keep a pic like this on file.

OK now the more modelly things.

  • Please bring your make-up, even if there’s a make-up artist booked for the shoot. You know your face and and the colours that suit it, better than anyone, so having your stuff available can really help.
  • Underwear. The mainstay of any shoot is lots and lots of pretty matching two piece underwear sets. Doesn’t have to be expensive brands, but newish, clean and sexy works.
  • Stockings and suspenders. It’s a timeless porn classic, so bring them if you have them, but again the key is matching!
  • Holdups. These are great in their own right, but its worth pointing out they don’t shoot up well, when used with suspenders, so both may be needed.
  • Shoes. Simple black (or any other colour), open toed, stilettos make everyone’s legs look longer. The plainer the better as in photos, the viewers eye tends to be drawn to any detail or sparkles. No boots, and no stripper heels. We never shoot them and they are heavy for you to drag around in your model bag. Let us know what size you are as we have plenty in sizes 4-5-6 which fit most girls.
  • Tops. Everything from simple T-shirts to stuff you’d go out in is great and gets shot a lot.
  • Jeans. Sneak up on any guy and ask him what one of his favourite outfits for a hot girl is and he’ll tell you, plain white T and skin tight, preferably old and holey jeans. So bring em.
  • Sex toys. if you have any, feel free to bring them, though we have plenty.
  • Lube. You’re a pro now, so spit does not cut it. We’re pretty sure its not good for you and lube works better, because as it says on the tin, it’s lube. We also bring it, so no worries if you forget.

The key with all the items to bring is that none other than the ID are vital, just fling a bag together with what you have and we’ll freestyle on the day as we also have tons and tons of our own stuff, which we also bring. Text or email us before the shoot if there’s anything you don’t have but would like to shoot in, there’s a string chance we’ll have it. Above all, you get to bend the rules and pick stuff that suits your style. We want you to look great but also feel comfortable and attractive in what you wear, so don’t be shy!

We aim to shoot 6 different outfit changes during the shoot, so between the stuff you bring and the bag of underwear and toys we bring, we can get through easily and have choices.

Think of a name

Most models use a modelling alias instead of their real name. If you have a name you’d like us to use then let us know at the shoot and we’ll use it any time your photos or video are published. If you can’t think of one or don’t care, we’ll make one up for you instead. We won’t ever use your real name.

Nails

Ideally clean and shortish and a solid or natural colour. Painted fresh that day! No chipped or bitten paint, please. Acrylics with square french tips and pretty patterns look good in a fashion context, but a lot less so on a virtually naked model, so avoid if at all possible. If you are a nail biter, then no nail polish at all is best.

Shaving/waxing/hairy?

Shock horror, girls have hair and it doesn’t always grow where you want it. The key here is to not change your usual routine. If you wax, get done a few days before the shoot so the plucked chicken redness has time to fade. If you shave then do it the morning of the shoot, or even at the shoot – that way we can shoot before any redness comes up. If you have lots and lot of hair, please don’t shave at all, it’s a thing, some guys like it so don’t change just because.

Fake tan is your friend.

We’ve found that St Tropez aerosol fake tan applied the day before a shoot can look stunningly good, but you will almost certainly need a mate to do the spraying as you need to make sure it gets everywhere and on your back. Make sure you wear rubber gloves as if not you’ll look like you have muddy fingers!  Do not sunbed the day before and hope it’ll work! It won’t.

Travel to and from the shoot

We always aim to minimise your travel, so hopefully you won’t have far to go, but keep any receipts so we can reimburse you. if you have a car and satnav, you can come this way but bear in mind you’ll probably be pretty tired on the return trip so you may want to take a bus or train instead. We will always pick you up and drop you back at the station before and after the shoot, and we’ll never make sure you catch the bus or train you are booked on. In no event will you be left high and dry and unable to get home.

Mobile Phones

Please keep your mobile on and respond to texts and calls on the day of the shoot. Because we’ve minimised your travel, we often have to travel long distances, so keeping in touch stops us worrying.
